Ravana had imprisoned Sita on a distant island called Lanka, with a vast ocean serving as a barrier between them.
Rama wanted to be with Sita, but there was a big problem—the wide ocean. Rama felt very sad, but then Hanuman, who loved and followed Rama, came forward. Hanuman was super loyal and powerful.
With strong determination, Hanuman jumped really far, shaking the ground. Flying through the sky, he crossed oceans and lands, leaving a mark on the sky.
When Hanuman got to Lanka, he was amazed by the big demon kingdom. He disguised himself as a simple monkey and went on a dangerous journey through tricky paths, using his smart mind and special powers. He finally found Sita in a quiet place called Ashoka Vatika.
Sita wasn’t sure at first, but Hanuman’s divine presence comforted her. He told her about Rama’s love, his never-ending effort to save her, and promised to come back with help. Filled with love and determination, Hanuman thanked Sita and promised that Rama would rescue her soon.
Before leaving, Hanuman showed his incredible strength by setting Lanka on fire with his tail, warning Ravana that Rama’s friend was no ordinary monkey. Ravana was scared because he realized Hanuman was powerful.
When Hanuman came back to Rama, he shared the good news about Sita and revealed Ravana’s bad actions. Hanuman’s brave jump and daring adventures became a famous story, inspiring awe and respect for a long time. His strong loyalty and amazing deeds played a big role in the Ramayana story.
